The terms for using Univo
Last updated 22 August 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Univo workspace or otherwise using the product, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you’re signing up as a business, on behalf of that business (the “tenant”).
2. What Univo is
Univo is a business software suite, delivered as software-as-a-service, starting with an HR & payroll module (HRMS) with more modules (Marketing, Sales, Billing, Inventory, Finance, Projects) planned. Each tenant gets its own isolated workspace under one login and permission model.
3. Accounts and workspaces
The person who completes signup becomes the workspace’s first admin and is responsible for inviting and managing other users, assigning roles, and keeping login credentials secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account and your workspace.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Univo to store or process data you don’t have the right to hold (e.g. someone else’s employee data without authorization).
- Attempt to access another tenant’s workspace or data, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system without authorization.
- Use the service to violate any applicable law, including employment and data-protection law.
- Resell or provide the service to third parties outside your own organization without our written agreement.
5. Your data
You (the tenant) own the data you put into Univo. We only process it to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If your workspace is closed, you can request an export of your data before deletion.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans and billing terms are described on our Pricing page at the time you subscribe. Fees are billed in advance for the billing period you choose and are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Availability
We aim to keep Univo available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We’ll do our best to give notice of planned maintenance that affects availability.
8. Termination
You can close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated, if required by law, or if a paid subscription lapses and isn’t renewed within a reasonable grace period.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Univo and its team aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. We’ll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify tenant admins directly.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
